Medical Aesthetic

Certain factors such as aging, sun rays, stress and smoking cause the skin to lose its old appearance over time. Medical science offers various solutions for this condition, which negatively affects the appearance and understandably has become an important aesthetic problem for many people. Medical aesthetic applications, which are the subject of this article, can be shown as an example of these solutions.

Although these applications are considered as similar procedures with other aesthetic operations and are often lumped together with them, there is actually an important difference between them. In medical aesthetic applications, the procedures to be done to eliminate the problems related to the external appearance of the people are performed without cutting any tissue, in other words, without surgery.

Botulinum toxin application: Botulinum toxin is a toxin formed by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum.

It is aimed to reduce the wrinkles caused by these muscles by blocking the mimic muscles that are frequently used in cosmetic applications. It is an effective method especially in reducing forehead wrinkles, frowning eyebrow lines, eye contour (crow's feet), mouth circumference and neck wrinkles.

For sweating, it acts by reducing sweat production from sweat glands in patients who complain of excessive sweating and do not benefit from conventional treatments. It is applied to the armpits, inner surfaces of the hands and feet.

Chemical peeling applications: It aims to create a smoother skin in terms of structure and color by stimulating the repair mechanisms by peeling the skin layers in a controlled manner with the help of a chemical. It is used in the treatment of melasma and other spots, acne and scars, wrinkles and large pores.

Filling injection: It is the application of different structures to remove wrinkles, sagging, scars and shape the skin. Hyaluronic acid, which is in the body's natural structure, is most often used. Lines descending from the edge of the nose (nasolabial lines) are used to reduce under-eye hollows and to give volume to the lips, cheeks and chin. In addition, it is used in the form of youth vaccines to remove the superficial wrinkles of the skin and to give it moisture-brightness and a healthy appearance.

Mesotherapy: It is a method based on the logic of injecting the drug in minimal doses into the problem area under the skin. It gives good results in hair loss, skin rejuvenation-antiaging, scarring, skin cracks, cellulite and regional lubrication treatments.

PRP application: PRP (blood enriched with clot cells) obtained by taking the person's own blood into special tubes and processing it is a method used in the treatment of skin rejuvenation-antiaging, spot treatment, acne scars, scars, skin cracks and hair loss.

Dermatherapy (Microneedling): Micro-holes opened by moving a device with many micro-needles on the problematic skin initiates a regeneration process in the skin. Need-based products can be delivered from these microchannels. It is used in scars and acne scars, skin cracks, skin rejuvenation-antiaging, pore reduction and spot treatments.

GRP application: GRP (Plasma rich in growth factors), which is an improved model of PRP, is prepared by taking the person's own blood and performing a series of processes that will reveal the growth factors. With this application, besides skin rejuvenation, spot treatment, acne and scar treatment, it is also effective in improving hair quality before and after hair transplantation and in the treatment of hair loss.

Youth vaccines: Hyaluronic acid is an important building block for our skin, it gives our skin a moist and supple appearance. This molecule, which is lost with age, decreases by almost half in the 40s. In addition to intense hyaluronic acid, youth vaccines offered under different commercial names containing different products effective in the regeneration process of the skin replace this loss, giving the skin a more luminous, moist and flexible appearance, while changing additional ingredients stimulate collagen synthesis and prevent oxidative damage that causes aging. These applications, which are planned as 2-4 sessions with 10-15 day intervals according to age, skin type, smoking and sun history of the person, can also be combined with other methods.
